Jennifer Lanza-Linn
Jennifer Lanza-Linn’s first experiences
with art took place in her grandparent’s market, where she was given
large sheets of butcher paper upon which she would draw with markers.
This early exposure to art materials and the creative process
eventually grew into a full-time love of artmaking. She was educated
in ceramics at Kent State University where she received her Bachelor’s
degree in 1996. She has exhibited her work at the Butler Institute of
American Art in Youngstown, Ohio and also the Salem, Ohio location,
where in 2002 she had a solo exhibition. She also was a co-curator
and exhibited her work in two group shows at the Salem Butler in 2002
and 2004. In 2005 she exhibited her work in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire,
England and in 2006 in Seattle, Washington. In 2004 her work was
published in New Art International Volume IX and in 2005 in American
Art Collector, Volume 1: Book 3. She is currently a graduate student
at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio studying art therapy and
